A question we are often asked by clients when considering a golfing trip is, What can we offer to a non golfing passenger ? i.e a partner or children. While the golf playing person is out on the course enjoying their round of golf. We here at SGT will take the non golf players to visit near by places of interest, for example a local castle or other historical place of interest of which there are a great deal to choose from throughout Scotland. Should they prefer a few hours shopping we are happy to drop them at a designated point where they will be collected before returning to the golf course to collect the rest of the party.

Our driver guides are able to give information on the location and ideas where would be of interest. Most of the historic attractions will provide a guided tour on site should people want a more in depth experience on the chosen place. These guides are occasionally at an extra cost this can be discussed at entry to the attraction.

Whisky distillery visits are also an experience enjoyed by many of our group's who have visited in the past and there are distilleries a plenty throughout Scotland,  if you have a favourite whisky we can make a point of visiting that particular one if its in the area where your tour is travelling through.

Should the group contain any Outlander fans there are a host of filming locations where we are able to visit . We will also make up a day tour which would include several of the locations that passengers who are interested would be able to spend time soaking up the Outlander experience

IN ORDER TO PROCESS A RESERVATION WE REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:

ITINERARIES: 

We always require an up to date copy of itinerary of all tours arranged by client.

£200.00 or agreed amount; (non refundable) Deposit upon booking and final payment to be made 60 days prior to collection date.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

In the event of a cancellation, written notice of your cancellation must be e mailed to Scottish Golf Transportation as soon as possible. Any deposit is non refundable. If services are cancelled by client after total/final payment has been made only a 50% of total amount will be refunded. If any trip is cancelled by SGT all deposits and payments will be refunded in full.

ATTENTION :

It is a legal requirement in Scotland that operators carry appropriate Operator Licensing approvals and commercial vehicle/fleet insurance (referred to as Private Hire or Hire and Reward Insurance) The absence of either may void all personal passenger liability insurance cover. If you are considering taking up the offer of transport from a provider in Scotland we advise you to ask the Operator for his/her appropriate Operator Licensing approval references. Scottish Golf Transportation  are fully insured with an  appropriate commercial insurance. We operate strictly in accordance with those requirements for the operation Passenger Service Vehicles and in particular with regard to scheduled maintenance and safety checks AND the observance of UK Driver Hours laws for your safety and peace of mind.

FINAL BALANCE:

Final balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Final payment may be paid by Visa debit or credit card, Bank transfer or pay pal invoice. 

SPECIAL SERVICES:

Special arrangements are non-refundable. i.e sporting or theatre bookings

BAGGAGE:

Your driver will assist in unloading and loading baggage at all times, but your Baggage is your responsibility, please ensure it is loaded and unloaded at all relevant stopping points. This includes golf clubs, Please make sure your travel insurance includes all baggage and personal belongings.
